It all started with a burnout. D has primarily focused on muscle cars, hating anything and everything to do with imports. Thanks to his wife’s wisdom, D let himself be pushed into getting this 1993 Honda Prelude Si. D worked for a year and a half after being inside the Prelude and feeling the burnout and the launch to purchase it. After trading a clapped out Jeep for the Prelude, the drive to build his import started with “this is an easy head gasket replacement.” The world of possibilities opened when he realized the boost could blow the doors off the competition, almost literally. His current build is thanks to the “scatpack killer” at 30 psi of boost blowing apart the piston rings. Never lift.
